Well, make a CANDY CASSEROLE, OF COURSE!

Here’s an example of many possibilities, given to us by Charm City Rollergirl, Frenzy Lohan (As you may have guessed, there is a Rollergirl to rule every occasion you can imagine.):

• Dice 3-5 solid milk chocolate bunnies into 1″ cubes

• Add jellybeans, assorted colors (black licorice flavor may be removed, but this is not strictly necessary.)

• Microwave on medium power setting for 30 seconds.

• Stir, and repeat until the chocolate cubes are softened and melting.

• Pour into serving container

• Add peeps* to top for even coverage.

• Microwave 10-30 additional seconds until peeps swell.

So come get your bunnies and start cooking!

*Other Easter-related items will be discounted as well.

I have never met a piece of bacon I couldn’t like, or even love. I have always been a fan of weekend breakfasts of pancakes and bacon, and inevitably syrup would nicely coat a strip or two of my bacon. In the spirit of not letting food go to waste, I would always still eat those strips of syrupy bacon. And I grew to LOVE them. The sweet coating over the cured, salty crunch is a staple in my food cravings dictionary.

Vosges’ Mo’s Bacon Bar tempts my palate in wonder. I have been wary of chocolate and bacon, never wanting to mix 2 sacred things. All things sacred aside, this chocolate bar is pleasing right out of the wrapper. The scent is strong, but not overpowering. The sweet milk chocolate mixes with a cured aroma. It smells amazing. It’s milk chocolate, but it’s firm and holds up well in my hand, none of that melts in your hungry little hand mess. So napkins be gone!
